It’s time to gain control of your emotions and put an end to any anxiety, sadness, or uneasiness you may be experiencing. We’re here to show you why it is worth investing in your mental health- you deserve it!

About The Founder

My name is Ivyanne Van Der Peet. I am a Licensed Mental Health Therapist offering expertise in anxiety, depression, trauma and eating disorders. I have several years of experience working at Seattle Children’s Hospital on the Inpatient Psychiatric Unit, in the Emergency Department, and I helped pilot the Seattle Children’s Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program. Therefore, I specialize in complex cases and have an array of resources to offer the patients and families I serve.

I am a DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) informed therapist with training and practice utilizing various other evidence based therapies. I believe in a person-centered, whole person, trauma informed approach. It is important to me that you are the center of your therapeutic experience and that together we consider all aspects of your life that may be impacting your mental health. I’m intentional about supporting you through your therapeutic journey in a delicate and meaningful way and enjoy getting to know people of all backgrounds and walks of life. I am enthusiastic about serving youth, young adults, and neuro-diverse individuals with various complexities. I believe in exploring one’s identity and differences, igniting one’s willingness to grow, and turning difficult experiences into life altering growth.

Life brings many challenges but I truly believe each and every person is capable of overcoming those challenges given the right supports. As your therapist I will challenge you to think critically about your decisions, foster motivation, identify your purpose and explore your history which will result in reaching your fullest potential. Systemic oppression, societies expectations and pressure from others can really take a toll on us, our self esteem and our ability to flourish. With patience and perseverance, I’m confident you can achieve the life you wish to have!

I’m excited to meet any future clients and walk this path with you!

I‘m deeply passionate about reaching underserved communities and am currently in the process of developing a non-profit organization that will provide financial resources to marginalized youth and young adults who cannot afford therapy. Money should never be a barrier so please reach out regardless of your socioeconomic status and potential treatment barriers- I will do what I can to get you the support you need and deeply deserve!
